mikeskinner: we glide in past middelgrunden wind farm as ted wakes from a crusty eyed doze. we are met at the airport by a well oiled dj funk who covered the previous nights deck shift and wants to hang and talk. the booze on his breath at 4 are the first signs that this festival is more than just a festival. similar to the calm at the beginning of a sci if horror film like prometheus which i see in the local cineplex. around the hotel there are kids carrying 24 packs of local tinnys with battle ready determination to build a hardy windbreak while the hundred thousand strong crowd slowly materialize for copenhagen’s biggest street party Why am I not at Distortion?! fucking exams, they’re ruining everything.
